The LNAGSL Supports Gateway Greening's "Solstice with the Stars" as our June Member Event - Live and Silent Plant Auction, Raffle and Door Prizes, Appetizers and Drinks
The June meeting of the Landscape and Nursery Association of Greater St. Louis (LNAGSL) encourages members of the Gateway green industry to attend Gateway Greening's "Solstice with the Stars" on Friday, June 17.
LNAGSL Business Meeting: 4:15 - 4:45pm
Solstice with the Stars event: 5:30 - 8:30pm
Solstice with the Stars is an auction of rare or new introductions of prized plants and items of interest to the gardening public. The stars are locally renowned plantswomen and plantsmen, nursery owners, horticulturists and garden writers who circulate during the event. All proceeds go to Gateway Greening's programs which support about 200 citizen-managed food producing gardens on under-used and abandoned land in the urban core of St. Louis. Last year, youth and community gardens raised an estimated 130,000 pounds of food for families who live below the poverty line.
