A Sustainable SITES Initiative Pilot Project
SWT Design practices what they promote: creating sustainable landscapes. In 2009, Bohn's Farm appreciated the opportunity to support the educational mission of the SWT Design office landscape by contributing a variety of herbaceous perennials for the rain garden demonstration area. In addition to providing herbaceous plants for the rain garden display, Bohn's Farm assisted with providing a collection of ornamental native and introduced carex (sedge) for creating an on-going trial planting for evaluating this landscape-worthy genus.
The SWT Design office landscape has been selected as one of 150 Sustainable SITES Pilot Projects.
