Echinacea 'Aloha'

Coneflower

Plant Type: Perennial
FULL sun to MORNING sun/AFTERNOON shade

This beautifully fragrant Echinacea is a star performer in the landscape. It grows quickly to form a bushy clump of strong, upright stems and rich green foliage. Masses of elegant yellow flowers with an orange cone shine brightly atop tall stems which make them perfect for fresh bouquets. The flowers lighten to soft yellow as they age.

‘Aloha’ is a very long bloomer, often showing color from early summer through early fall. Butterflies and songbirds delight in their sweet nectar all season.

Praised for their cheerful brightly colored flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today's garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter.
